Behavior Based Interviews

This training video describes the behavior based method of interviewing, and is designed for use by both state employees and those seeking employment with the State of Michigan. It reviews the use of the STAR technique, provides direction on how to locate the COMPETENCIES used by hiring managers to develop interview questions, and presents a MOCK INTERVIEW to demonstrate a successful behavior based interview. Viewers are encouraged to print and reference the handout while watching the video.
