State Superintendent Mike Flanagan highlights the contributions of Career and Technical Education (CTE) to the advances of high school education in preparing students for the jobs of the 21st Century. Educating students with hands-on skills in emerging employment fields, while fulfilling the new and rigorous graduation requirements, makes CTE a vital component in Michigan's drive for excellence.
