Equipment Assistance Grants for School Food Authorities
Total Funding Available to Michigan: $2,555,174
Date Available: Funds will be available to the state by June, 2009.
Program Information: Grants will be used to support participants in the National School Lunch Program with equipment purchase assistance. Equipment requests may include new equipment, renovation of equipment, or replacement of equipment.
Grant Information: A competitive grant competition will be announced by the Michigan Department of Education. Priority will be given to schools with at least 50 percent of students eligible for free or reduced-priced meals. All applications will be in the Michigan Electronic Grants System (MEGS).
