Civil Rights

In order to participate in the federally assisted school food service programs, Local Educational Agencies must take measures to assure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, be excluded form participation in, be denied benefits of the food service programs or otherwise be subject to discrimination.  Program regulations require that the nondiscrimination statement be posted in the food service area.
