Mott Middle College (MMC) is a middle college that redesigned into an Early College program in the 2002-03 school year. MMC serves youth in all 21 school districts in Genesee County and districts geographically adjacent to Genesee County. The program is designed to serve students who are at-risk of dropping out of school, are underrepresented in higher education and/or are not working up to their academic potential.  

MMC blends high school and college in a rigorous yet supportive educational plan, compressing the time it takes to complete a high school diploma and up to the first two years of college. MMC offers a fresh start to students who desire to transfer their academic and co-curricular program to a combined high school/dual enrollment experience. MMC accepts 9th, 10th, and first semester 11th graders both in the fall and winter semesters.

In addition, MMC is a recognized national model for research, outreach and replication of middle and early college K-16 educational reform, offering coaching and on-site technical assistance.
