Washtenaw Technical Middle College (WTMC) is a Michigan Public School Academy chartered by and located on the campus of Washtenaw Community College (WCC).  WTMC is a skill based, as opposed to a credit based, educational program. Rather than merely accumulating high school credits, WTMC students progress through the program by acquiring and demonstrating hard (academic) and soft (life managements) skills. After finishing the college core academic requirements, students complete a technical certificate or associate degree from Washtenaw Community College. Each WTMC student chooses, based on their Educational Development Plan (EDP), one of 60 programs at Washtenaw Community College, and additional electives http://www.wccnet.edu/catalog/
