MichiCard: Michigan's Statewide Library Card The MichiCard project is a voluntary program extended to Michigan public libraries beginning in 1990. In 1994, academic libraries were added to the program. In 2000, all other types of libraries were invited to participate in creating a state-wide library card. To become a participating MichiCard library, contact the MichiCard Coordinator at (517) 373-3828.
