• About MCFB Grants
A goal of the Center for the Book is to bring literary activities to a broad range of people that might not otherwise have these experiences. One way we do this is to provide small grants for literary events in Michigan.

• 2012 MCFB Grant Procedures
The Michigan Center for the Book will partially fund events or projects in Michigan that enhance or complement our mission to promote an awareness of books, reading, literacy, authors and Michigan's rich literary heritage.

The 2012 grants have been awarded. Information on a 2013 grant program will be available in November 2012.

• 2012 Literary Grant Recipients
The Michigan Center for the Book awarded 11 grants for a total of $2,965.00 for literary events in 2012. Congratulations to the recipient libraries and thanks to our affiliate libraries for funding the grant program. Part of the Center for the Book's mission is to encourage reading and literary events throughout the state. Our grant program is one way we do that.
