The Office of Professional Preparation Services is currently in the process of transitioning to the new Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS). Educators will be able to apply for certification online beginning February 8, 2011. For more detailed information on MOECS and instructions on how to apply for a Michigan Educator license please visit www.michigan.gov/moecs <http://www.michigan.gov/moecs> .

If you have already submitted your application for a Michigan certificate/ license/endorsement or renewal of a certificate or license it will be processed prior to transition to MOECS PROVIDED THE EVALUATION/CERTIFICATION FEE HAS BEEN PAID AND ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ARE RECEIVED BEFORE NOVEMBER 19, 2010.
