The Fiscal Report Unit has overall responsibility for the fiscal integrity, accuracy and timeliness of state and federal Food and Nutrition meal reimbursement payments to schools and other participating entities. Responsibilities involve receiving, accounting, disbursing and reporting functions necessary for the Department to receive over $225 million federal reimbursement and $7.6 million in state funds annually.
