Appropriate Use of Funds Request for Information Form
The OSE-EIS has developed the "Use of Funds" form below to be used by ISDs, LEAs, and PSAs to submit questions around appropriate uses of special education funds.
Once the form is completed and the user selects "Submit by Email", the form data will automatically be forwarded to the OSE-EIS Program Finance team. Once the email is received by the OSE-EIS a confirmation email will be sent.
All requests will be reviewed to identify which fund sources, if any, can appropriately cover the cost of the program or expenditure. This includes: State Aid, IDEA Special Education Regular Flowthrough funds, and IDEA-ARRA Special Education Flowthrough funds.
The goal of the OSE-EIS is to provide ISDs, LEAs and PSAs with the most expedient response to their question as possible. Personnel completing the "Use of Funds" form should provide as much detail as possible. Follow-up may be required to seek clarification. Once a decision is made the OSE-EIS, Program Finance will notify the requestor by email and the question will be added to the OSE-EIS "Appropriate Use of Funds" FAQ document. If the submitted question is one that has already been addressed in the "Appropriate Use of Funds" FAQ, the OSE-EIS Program Finance will direct the requestor back to a specific question in the FAQ document.
