Guidelines for Participation in Statewide Assessment PPT icon

In particular, challenges in making these decisions for students with disabilities and English language learners are discussed, and available resources developed by the BAA to guide these key conversations are described. BAA Secure Site Overview
This session will provide a "big picture" overview of the BAA Secure Site, including topics such as how to place an initial or additional material order, how to track shipments, how to pre-identify students for testing, and how to update student demographics. Submitting issues during tested roster, reporting, and other system interfaces (e.g., MSDS and EEM) will also be covered. Learn shortcuts and tips from BAA staff and listen to questions posed by district assessment coordinators. This video is lengthy, so it has been split into chapters which allow viewers to go directly to the topic of their interest. There is no Powerpoint for this session.

Mich. Online Professional Learning System (MOPLS)

MOPLS English Language Arts
Michigan Online Professional Learning System (MOPLS) for English Language Arts (ELA) is an online, professional learning module developed by the MDE Bureau of Assessment and Accountability, Office of Special Education, and Office of Education Improvement and Innovation in collaboration with Michigan educators. The goal of the module is to assist and support ELA instruction (specifically in grades K-8), with a strong connection to the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts.
