When reviewing the list, please remember that we are working with limited funding, especially compared to the two previous rounds of contracts. Given our need to limit the scope of our purchases, the focus for our selection of MeL Databases revolved specifically around meeting the core information needs of the end users, the residents of the state.

We extend our thanks to the many librarians who volunteered their time and expertise in advising us on the core resources needed for all Michigan residents and to those who tested and reviewed all the databases submitted by vendors responding to the RFP. We look forward to continuing our work together with you in promoting the use of this essential group of resources and all aspects of the Michigan eLibrary to all Michigan residents.
Thank you for your patience during this lengthy and complex selection process.
Regards,
Nancy
