• Collaborating on Author Visits and Events Collaborating with other libraries can spread the costs and the work to bring an author or performer to your community.
We encourage you to use the Michigan Library Author Visits blog to find libraries to collaborate with and to share tips and techniques. You can find postings on forthcoming author visits at libraries around the state there. You can send posts to Karren Reish about authors you are hosting or are interested in hosting, programs you'd like to do as a group, or program materials you would like to share. You may be able to find a school, public or academic library near by that has the same idea as you!
To follow the blog, you can select subscribe to the posts and/or comments in the upper left corner of the blog page. You'll need an RSS or other feed reader. If you are unfamiliar with following a blog through an RSS or feed reader, you can find explanations on the web for how to use these services.
For more information on other libraries in your area, you can also check the Interactive Library Directory. |
