Office of Special Education Requests Public Comment on the FFY 2018 Annual Application Under Part B of IDEA

As required by federal law, the Annual State Application under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as Amended in 2004 for Federal Fiscal Year 2018 is presented for a period of public review from March 12, 2018 through May 12, 2018.

Written comment will be accepted from March 12, 2018 through April 10, 2018.

Draft Federal Fiscal Year 2018 Part B Application

The total amount in the application is an estimated figure provided by the United States Department of Education for FFY 2017.

All input on the federal application will be reviewed and considered in the final version of the document. All written input will be accepted by the Michigan Department of Education Office of Special Education through 5:00 p.m. (EST) April 10, 2018.
