Work to begin on Rapid River carpool lot April 20

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, April 24, 2009

PROJECT: The Delta County Road Commission, on behalf of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), will be doing earthwork in preparation for construction of a new carpool parking lot near the intersection of US-41 and US-2 in Rapid River, adjacent to the Rapid River Mini-Mart.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Although this work will be performed off the roadway, motorists should use caution when approaching this area.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT: When completed, this project will offer additional carpooling opportunities for motorists.
