ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, Oct. 30, 2009

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is reconstructing 3 miles of US-41/M-28 in the Michigamme area from Brown Road to the Baraga County line. This project includes the realignment of part of the highway known as the Michigamme curves. This project began in November 2008.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: One lane of traffic will be maintained with flag control throughout the project. There will be a lane-width restriction, and a brief period with a temporary traffic signal for a box culvert replacement. Motorists can expect delays of up to 10 minutes. In addition, the local roadside park will be closed during construction.
