PROJECT: Starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 11, the Dunckel Road bridge over US-127 will close for bridge replacement and widening. The bridge is expected to reopen by mid-August prior to the start of fall semester at MSU.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: A signed detour will be in place utilizing Collins Road and Jolly Road. US-127 exit and entrance ramps will remain open to Dunckel Road while the bridge is closed. Ramp repairs will take place in the fall, after the bridge has reopened.
MDOT: Working to improve our state roads and bridges.
