US-12/Bell Street intersection improvements start Monday in Cass County

May 11, 2009 -- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is starting a $198,000 project today in Milton Township, Cass County.
The project includes repaving .19 miles of US-12 and widening the intersection with Bell Street.
Flaggers will direct daytime traffic; motorists should anticipate shoulder closures at night. The project should be completed by July 17.
The contractor is Benton Harbor-based Rieth-Riley Construction Co. Inc.
