M-73 chip sealing in Iron County to begin May 18

ESTIMATED STARTING DATE: Monday, May 18, 2009

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, June 26, 2009

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be chip sealing 8.2 miles of M-73 in Iron County, from the US-2 intersection to the Wisconsin state line.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: This work will require lane closures with flag control, as well as a pilot vehicle leading traffic at certain times.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT: This project, when completed, will extend the pavement service life.
