Intercity Bus Capital Equipment Program

This program acquires new, modern, reliable buses for eligible private intercity bus carriers for use through a lease agreement. Carriers are required to provide daily regular route services in exchange for project equipment. This program has been responsible for many new miles of regular route service and the preservation of existing regular route services.
