  Freedom of Information Act
Who can make a Freedom of Information request?
 
Answer:
Public documents may be requested under the Freedom of Information Act by an individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, firm, organization, association, governmental entity, or other legal entity. Individuals serving a sentence of imprisonment in a federal, state or county correctional facility in Michigan or any other state may not request public documents.
