What types of records may I request under the Freedom of Information Act?
 
Answer:
All writings prepared, owned, used, in the possession of, or retained by a public body in the performance of an official function, except computer software and those records explicitly specified as exempt from disclosure in Section 13, are covered by the Freedom of Information Act.
