Bagley Avenue Pedestrian Bridge Art

Does every member of the design team have to be a Michigan resident? I am a Michigan resident, and my collaborative partner is a design professor out-of-state. Are we disqualified if the out-of-state partner is involved in this design effort?

Answer:

The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking federal matching funds for a combined anticipated total of $100,000 for artwork including state and federal funds. Since federal funds may be involved, the competition is now open to all artists who are residents of the United States of America. Addendum #1 to the RFQ reflects this change.
