Pure Michigan Byways and Tour Routes Driving Guide

Michigan’s wonders are easy to explore through the state’s 22 designated State and National Byways and Tour Routes. Each byway description in the driving guide highlights notable scenic, natural, historical, cultural and archaeological attractions along the route. The guide also includes maps and details on available services, estimated travel times, and the best seasons to experience each byway or tour route. Routes are organized by their official designations.

Hard copies of the driving guide are available at any MDOT Welcome Center.
