What kind of assistance is provided by the Freeway Courtesy Patrol?

The MDOT Freeway Courtesy Patrol will:
  • service disabled vehicles by providing fuel, oil, and other system fluids;
  • clear stranded vehicles and debris from driving lanes;
  • change or inflate tires;
  • make minor mechanical repairs;
  • secure the area around your vehicle;
  • remove disabled vehicles;
  • provide cell phone assistance;
  • transport stranded motorists;
  • provide directions.
