The International Bridge Administration (IBA) is holding a public open house to present design plans for the potential toll plaza redevelopment project to customers and stakeholder groups. The goal of the project is to improve traffic safety and operational efficiency by addressing current traffic flow concerns due to the close proximity of the U.S. Customs booths to the IBA toll booths. The project would also improve traffic processing in the toll plaza with an increase in the number of toll booths available to our customers. Proposed plans being developed as part of the design phase will be displayed at the open house and IBA staff will be available to answer questions. The construction phase of this project will require Sault Ste. Marie Bridge Authority Board approval to proceed based on the availability of sufficient toll revenue as projected in the Five Year Business Plan.
