Where Are We Located?

The International Bridge spans the St. Mary's River and carries international traffic between Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

The International Bridge is located at the northern terminus Interstate I-75 and forms a critical gateway linking Canada and the United States. The I-75 begins at the south end of the International Bridge United States Plaza and is a valuable commerce route running south to Flint and Detroit.

On the Canadian side, the International Bridge is the "Gateway to Northern Ontario". The bridge connects to Highways 17 North and 17 East. Highway 17 North follows the north shore of Lake Superior to the city of Thunder Bay and onwards to the province of Manitoba.

Highway 17 East provides an easterly route to Sudbury, Ontario and continues to the province of Quebec.
