MDOT to hold M-140 open house in Watervliet

BACKGROUND: MDOT will be rebuilding M-140 (Main Street) from Dan Smith Road to the Watervliet Township Hall in the city of Watervliet and Watervliet Township. The $7 million project is scheduled to begin April 2010 and is expected to be completed at the end of 2011. Improvements include water main and drainage work, new intersections, and sidewalk and traffic signal upgrades. MDOT staff will be available to receive comments and answer questions about the project.
