31MDOT to reconstruct Rockford rest area
August 31, 2005 - - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin reconstruction Tuesday, Sept. 6, of the Rockford rest area located on southbound US-131 in northern Kent County. The rest area and access ramps will be open for the Labor Day holiday weekend and then closed to the public until the estimated completion in late May 2006.
