29Extensive bridge work will require I-696 closures for weekend of July 7
June 29, 2006 -- Coordination efforts on three bridge contracts to lessen the impact to the motoring public will result in two separate complete closures of I-696 the weekend beginning July 7, 2006. The full weekend closures are needed for bridge rehabilitation in Oakland and Macomb counties.
