Project: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be resawing and sealing concrete pavement joints on nearly six miles of US-131 from 102nd Street to south of 114th Avenue.

Traffic Restrictions: During this work, one lane of traffic will be open in each direction; however, there will be two lanes of traffic open in each direction from 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For work north of 106th Avenue, one lane will be open in each direction at all times.

Customer Benefit: This nearly $350,000 project is expected to extend the life of US-131 in this area by approximately five years. It continues a commitment by MDOT and the Granholm administration to create jobs, improve quality of life, and provide the highest quality integrated transportation services for Michigan residents and businesses.
