PROJECT: Beginning Monday, June 18, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Green Bay, Wis., contractor Holubar Construction will reconstruct 11 railroad crossings in and around Iron Mountain. MDOT expects two crossings will be worked on each week until the project is completed. The crossings are located at Kent, Ludington, Hughitt, H, F, D, C, B, and A streets, an unnamed alley, and on Merriman Road just north of the city.
TRAFFIC
RESTRICTIONS: Traffic will be detoured on adjacent city streets while work is taking place. Each detour should last approximately one week.
