MDOT to host public meeting to discuss M-52 improvements in Chelsea

WHAT: Public information meeting to discuss resurfacing M-52 between I-94 and Old US-12, along with ramp reconstruction at the I-94/M-52 interchange. There will be a short presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions of Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) staff.

BACKGROUND: Construction on M-52 is expected to begin in the summer and last through October. Construction will take place in stages to reduce the inconvenience on motorists, residents and business owners. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained on M-52 during construction, with short-term detours needed for work on the interchange ramps and at the intersection of Old US-12 and M-52.
