BACKGROUND: Opening two months ahead of schedule, the I-75 northbound ramp to Vernor Highway. I-75 is another milestone in MDOT's I-75 Gateway Project, providing a direct link to Mexicantown restaurants and businesses.
During the week of Oct. 26, the MDOT Metro Region is kicking off a weeklong event to encourage the Metro Detroit community to visit shops and restaurants in Mexicantown and southwest Detroit.
The $230 million I-75 Gateway Project is now 95 percent complete. For up-to-date information on the project, visit the project Web site at www.michigan.gov/gateway.
