M-15 from I-75 to I-69 in Oakland and Genesee Counties
M-15Record of Decision and Study Overview
The Federal Highway Administration has granted a Record of Decision (ROD) for the M-15 corridor from I-75 to I-69 in Oakland and Genesee Counties. MDOT proposed advancing the "No-Build" Alternative in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and 4(f) Evaluation with safety and operational improvements as warranted. Local communities will be able to use the EIS for corridor preservation along M-15. Two public meetings were held in May 2011 in Goodrich and Ortonville to gather comments on the Final EIS document. The ROD is the final step in the environmental clearance process.
