Commissioner Ted B. Wahby, (D) of St. Clair Shores, was appointed by Governor John Engler effective March 27, 1997 and reappointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm January 12, 2006 and again on January 23, 2009.
Mr. Wahby is currently treasurer of Macomb County and a former mayor of St. Clair Shores from 1983 to
1995. He retired as vice president of Comerica Bank.
Mr. Wahby has also served as chief deputy treasurer for Macomb County from 1992 through 1995,
councilman for the City of St. Clair Shores from 1981 through 1983, and trustee for the Lakeshore School
District Board from 1980 through 1981. His commission term will expire December 21, 2011.
