Commissioner Linda Miller Atkinson, (D) of Channing, was appointed by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm effective March 19, 2004, and every two years since.

A partner of Atkinson, Petruska, Kozma & Hart; Trial Lawyers of Gaylord, St. Ignace and Channing, Ms. Atkinson is a member of the Michigan State Bar, the Wisconsin State Bar and the Indiana State Bar and is a certified facilitator in U.S. DC, Western District. She received her B.A. from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio and her JD from Wayne State University Law School.

Her current term will expire on December 21, 2012.
