• About the Board 
In early 2005, based on the recommendation of the Research and Evaluation Action Team established after the Michigan Transportation Summit (www.michigan.gov/transportationsummit/), a new body of transportation professionals named the Michigan Transportation Research Board (MTRB) was established. A charter for the board has been developed and an Executive Committee was also created.
