General Overview: Design publications, displays, exhibits, signs and other items for educational, informational and public relations programs.

Interpret information and use it to prepare graphs, charts, maps, diagrams, posters, layouts, slides and other graphic presentations.

Freehand and mechanical lettering, copy-fitting, taking photographs and producing technical drawings. Prepare and install exhibits.

Use specialized techniques such as airbrush, scratchboard, and halftone screen in making color and black and white designs.

Education: Two years of college, with course work in art, art education, or graphic art design.
