Traffic Technician

 Traffic Technician

General Overview: Participate in a variety of activities designed to enhance highway safety and user efficiency through the collection, analysis, and application of traffic and highway safety data and principles to specific traffic control, signing, signaling and marking situations.

Working Conditions: May require an employee to be exposed to inclement weather conditions and hazardous work environments, work outdoors as well as in an office, and in an environment that involves exposure to unpleasant and noxious fumes and odors, and require travel.

Physical Requirements: Requires an employee to walk and stand for long periods.

Education: Associate's degree in civil technology.
