I-96, from Wacousta Rd to M-43 in Clinton and Eaton Counties

This project includes the design and construction of work on I-96 from M-43 to Wacousta Road and M-43 from Marketplace Blvd to east of Canal Road. This includes approximately 5.7 miles of concrete freeway reconstruction on I-96, .82 miles of reconstruction on M-43 from Marketplace Blvd. to east of Canal Road, and .3 miles of widening on Canal, including interchange ramp reconstruction, bridge rehabilitation, sidewalk reconstruction, traffic signs and traffic signals and carpool lot expansion.  Bridge work may include rehabilitation of up to 10 structures, and may include deep overlays, substructure repairs, painting, joint replacement, deck patching, PCI beam end repairs, and pin and hanger replacement, and approach replacement.
