System Profile 
The Houghton Motor Transit Line is operated by the City of Houghton and started service in May, 1982. Senior citizens and persons with disabilities comprise 39 percent of the annual ridership. Service provided from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week when MTU is in session Sept - May.
