About

The Vehicle and Equipment Advisory Team (VEAT) meets on an as-needed basis to review, update, and/or develop state of Michigan transit vehicle specifications.  Vehicles include accessible/modified vans, small buses, and medium buses.  VEAT meetings are open to Michigan public transit agency staff members and transit users.  

Vendors

Periodically, transit vehicle and equipment vendors are invited to attend VEAT meetings to present products and/or answer team member questions.  Due to the tight schedules, presentation time is limited to around 10 - 15 minutes.   Please note vendors are not allowed to sit in or participate in the specification discussion; however, vendors are provided an opportunity to submit comments on draft specifications prior to bid.
