I-75 guardrail repairs under way in Zilwaukee

PROJECT: Repairs are under way on a damaged guardrail on northbound I-75 at the Kochville Drain, Mile Marker 156, in Saginaw County, beginning today.

Crews will remove a 150-foot section and reset the guardrail.

The repairs are necessary following a semi-truck crash and fire which occurred early this morning.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Two lanes of northbound I-75 will be closed; one lane will remain open from M-13 north across the bridge.

MDOT will use changeable message boards to alert motorists to lane restrictions.

MDOT says: Construction work zones need your undivided attention.
