Ramp movement changes coming soon to I-75 modernization project in Oakland County

  • This project to modernize I-75 to current standards will enhance safety and improve traffic flow.        

June 16, 2017 -- Weather permitting, changes will be coming soon to ramp movements at the I-75/Square Lake Road interchange. The reconfiguration of the interchange is included in the ongoing $91.8 million investment to reconstruct I-75 between Coolidge Highway and South Boulevard. Scheduled for Saturday, June 17, the southbound I-75 exit to westbound Square Lake Road will be in a new configuration with one lane maintained. In addition, the westbound Square Lake Road exit to Opdyke Road will open.  

Scheduled to occur prior to sunset on Tuesday, June 20, a new configuration will be in place for the eastbound Square Lake Road exit to southbound I-75. One lane will be maintained on the ramp.
