June 16, 2017 -- Crews will be closing Adams Road in each direction under southbound I-75 from 10 p.m. tonight until 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, to set bridge beams. By 2 p.m. Saturday, Adams Road is expected to have one lane open in each direction under I-75. The bridge work is part of the ongoing $91.8 million investment to reconstruct I-75 between South Boulevard and Coolidge Highway in Oakland County.

During the closure, northbound Adams Road traffic will be detoured using eastbound Square Lake Road to northbound Coolidge Highway, then westbound South Boulevard back to Adams Road. Southbound traffic will be detoured via eastbound South Boulevard to southbound Coolidge Highway, then westbound Square Lake Road back to Adams Road. Currently, both directions of I-75 are maintained on the northbound side of the freeway between Coolidge Highway and Auburn Road, with two lanes open in each direction.
