Activity at the Mackinac Bridge takes a dramatic turn when the first wave of summer travelers hits the highways of Michigan to participate in the popular St. Ignace Car Show in late June. From then until early September, a constant stream of automobiles and trucks will cross over the bridge and a steady flow of pleasure boats, sailboats and freighters will pass under the bridge.
