Lane closures on I-75 at 12 Mile Road in Oakland County begin Thursday, Feb. 2

- Urgent I-75 bridge repair over 12 Mile Road continues in Madison Heights.
- I-75 lane closures begin Feb. 2 and are restricted to three weeks.

January 23, 2012 -- The ongoing repair to the northbound and southbound I-75 bridges over 12 Mile Road in Madison Heights will enter a new stage in early February. Beginning Thursday, Feb. 2, northbound I-75 will have two lanes open with a traffic shift for 10 days. In addition, crews will close the loop ramp from eastbound 12 Mile Road to northbound I-75 for up to 10 days.

On Saturday, Feb. 11, southbound I-75 traffic will be shifted in order to maintain all three lanes. The westbound 12 Mile Road loop ramp to southbound I-75 will be closed for an additional 10 days.

Starting Tuesday, Feb. 7, 12 Mile Road will have one lane open in each direction for up to one month.

All schedules are subject to change.
