BACKGROUND: Starting in April, MDOT will rebuild M-89 between 12th Street and Hicks Avenue, including the bridge over the Kalamazoo River mill race. The two-year, $11 million project is scheduled to be completed in August 2013. A detour will be required.

MDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and its potential impacts.
